We've heard repeatedly from our viewers that, after kids watch our entertainment, they want to make their own short films. Movie making is a great family hobby. I highly encourage it if you're looking for something fun to do with your siblings on Sunday afternoons!
But, be forewarned, it is a lot of work. Many, many hours of work went into these productions and I, for one, think the entertainment produced from those hours is well worth the watch!
So please enter as many times as you're able and best of luck to you! :-)

Meet My Sheep!
Posted by Lizzy Marie.
Danielle is my sheep and, as you can tell, she's the cutest :).

"Not the only cute one!"
Oh, sorry Buttons. Buttons is Danielle's baby. Isn't she cute?

"So am I!"
Oh Danielle why did you have so many cute kids?
"I didn't want to be the only cute one here."
Hosanna is her latest baby, and we call her Hosanna, because she was born on Palm Sunday last year.

Then Shadow is Michael's. I think he likes her because they resemble each other or something :).
And, of course, she had to carry on her line... Pocket (Shadow's baby) is just as old as Buttons.
Max, my dog, likes to hang around the sheep and show Danielle that her kids and her aren't the only cute animals on the farm :).

Have a wonderful day, to all who read this post.

[Publisher's Note: Yes, all our sheep are black! :-P For now anyway. We'll make sure we get some color in our next ram! As for these girls, they all have a date with the local sheep-salon lady (me!) this coming week. Should be some pretty cute hair styles turning out! :) Oh, and thumbs up for Lizzy on her own photography and writing on this one. And finally, Happy Birthday to Annie today!!]

Donna's Song...
Donna loves the animated movie; Spirit. She only ever wants to watch, "horsey movie," and just adores it! So much so, that she learned the whole theme song! It's called Here I Am, and here she is:
Here's what she's saying, more or less:
"Here I am, this is me, I come into this world so wild and free.
Here I am, just me and you, tonight we make our dreams come true!
It's a new world, it's a new start, it's alive (she excluded this part, "with the beating of young hearts," and went right back too:) it's a new day, it's a new land and it's waiting for me--(spoken to Lizzy who was filming her:) I wanna see it!

Well (Or Not So Well) Known Horse Facts:
Hey Guys! Before I get into this post, there's a few things you should know. First off, the writer of this post is Stephen. :) Theresa and I do most of the horse training and riding around here and over the years of working and playing with horses we have learned a lot of facts. Some fun... others.. well you'll see! :)
Fact: 1
Beware of riding horses on the beach; something about sand may cause your horse to (quite suddenly) collapse and roll. When they get back up, you have to run for it or you'll get sprayed with a thick wet mess of sand!

Fact: 2
If riding a mule, and mule wants to go home, and sees nothing but open field ahead, mule might just dump rider and fly home... (I've had first hand experience with this one! :))

Fact: 3
Watch out for little rope eating ponies.

Fact: 4
If horse has spring fever, there is a risk of them exerting it while ridding. Varying results may or may not leave rider in the ditch...

Fact: 5
Certain horses have the need to smell every piece of litter they pass on the road, which can really slow you down.

Fact: 6
Never make the mistake of getting on the horse backwards, cuz it just happens most horses don't like that.

Fact: 7
Watch out for bunnies, they like to wait for the perfect moment and then charge at horse/mule. Results can be quite fun until you hit the ground! :)

Fact: 8
While apple picking, horses can be very helpful to get those apples out of reach, just make sure you give the transportation/ladder one. ;)

Fact: 9
Be careful with creeks--even little streams, because if pony decides she doesn't want to get her hooves wet, you might be in for an awesome leap!

Fact: 10
Some certain pony's have quite a bumpy trot and if you don't have a good seat and no saddle, you might just bounce right off...

Oh and one more Fact:
If you're not the thrill seeking type, just ride your horse in deep snow...

Ok, there are a few of the facts we've learned and as you can see we have learned a lot:) and (most the time:)) it's been quite fun!
Well, nice talking with you, but it's time I get back to work. Right now we're preparing for sap season, so there's lots to do!
Have a great day!
